A trading demo or simulation essentially allows you to experience the market and platform features, using virtual funds and therefore without risk.

How do I add more funds to my demo account?

Although demo forex accounts simulate real market conditions and prices, it's important to remember that they are not always a perfect reflection of live market behavior. During periods of high volatility or low liquidity, such as market openings or news releases, the performance may differ from live accounts.

Margin and leverage settings can vary between your demo forex account and a live account, so success in the demo account may not be directly replicated in live trading.

For this reason, it is highly recommended that demo forex accounts be used as a learning tool for new traders or as a space to test new strategies before applying them in live markets.
